Por frustrantes que sean las hormigas de fuego, y por mucho que a todos nos encantar\u00eda echar a patadas cada hormiguero que vemos, dispersar su hormiguero no eliminar\u00e1 el problema. Hacerlo tambi\u00e9n puede aumentar sus posibilidades de ser mordido, lo que nadie disfrutar\u00e1. Quienes hayan sido mordidos por una hormiga de fuego, o por muchas en la mayor\u00eda de los casos de ataque de hormigas, conocen el dolor y las molestias que conlleva una picadura de hormiga de fuego. Para aquellos que a\u00fan no han sido mordidos, tomen esta advertencia y ev\u00edtenlas si pueden.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"size-full wp-image-1903 alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/devtgo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/ant-mounds-the-grass-outlet.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/devtgo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/ant-mounds-the-grass-outlet-e1394643125120.jpg\" alt=\"da\u00f1os por hormigas, da\u00f1os en el c\u00e9sped por hormigas\" width=\"300\" height=\"221\"><\/a><\/figure>\n<p>Si ha observado la aparici\u00f3n de un hormiguero en su c\u00e9sped, lo mejor es ocuparse de \u00e9l inmediatamente. Estas diminutas plagas pueden levantar una cantidad considerable de tierra, raz\u00f3n por la cual algunos m\u00e9todos de eliminaci\u00f3n pueden matar el c\u00e9sped circundante.<\/p>\n<p>Las hormigas rojas son una de las plagas m\u00e1s molestas que asolan los c\u00e9spedes de Tejas, y pueden ser dif\u00edciles de eliminar si no se hace correctamente. Existen muchos mitos sobre c\u00f3mo eliminar una infestaci\u00f3n de hormigas rojas, pero muchos de ellos son infructuosos o pueden acabar con el c\u00e9sped circundante. Entonces, \u00bfqu\u00e9 m\u00e9todos son los mejores para eliminar un hormiguero y conservar su hermoso c\u00e9sped?<\/p>\n<h2>M\u00e9todos de retirada<\/h2>\n<h3>Bucketing<\/h3>\n<p>El baldeo es la forma m\u00e1s sencilla de eliminar un hormiguero del c\u00e9sped, pero existe un alto riesgo de sufrir picaduras durante el proceso. Para ello hay que colocar varios cubos y desenterrar r\u00e1pidamente el hormiguero, distribuy\u00e9ndolo por los distintos cubos. Una vez hecho esto, lo mejor es espolvorear maicena por encima de los cubos para evitar que las hormigas salgan del hormiguero. Puedes optar por llevar estos cubos a otro lugar seguro o ahogar a las hormigas con agua caliente.<\/p>\n<p>El mejor momento para bucear en un hormiguero, durante la primavera, es a media tarde. A esta hora, la mayor\u00eda de las hormigas estar\u00e1n dentro del hormiguero, fuera de la vista. Es muy importante tomar precauciones adicionales al realizar el m\u00e9todo del cubo, como meterse los pantalones dentro de los calcetines y los zapatos si es posible. Dado que est\u00e1 molestando directamente al hormiguero, entrar\u00e1n en modo de ataque, y sus piernas pueden correr el riesgo de ser mordidas.<\/p>\n<h3>Insecticidas<\/h3>\n<p>Hay ciertos insecticidas que se fabrican especialmente para erradicar determinadas poblaciones de hormigas, entre ellas las hormigas rojas. Estos insecticidas son muy eficaces, pero a algunos no les gusta usar insecticidas por motivos de jardiner\u00eda. Si este es su caso y el de su c\u00e9sped, la mejor opci\u00f3n puede ser el uso de cubos.<\/p>\n<h3>El m\u00e9todo del agua caliente<\/h3>\n<p>Una de las formas m\u00e1s eficaces de matar un hormiguero es verter agua caliente o hirviendo sobre el hormiguero. Sin embargo, NO se recomienda hacerlo. Este m\u00e9todo es muy utilizado, pero tambi\u00e9n <strong>mata la hierba<\/strong> en los alrededores, algo que nadie desea. Las hormigas de fuego pueden ser plagas, pero no merece la pena poner en riesgo la salud de su c\u00e9sped para eliminarlas.
